Carving monoskis with short radius turns are great for those
who love to stay on edge. Midwest and eastern riders can really use up the slopes
if you don't have a lot of vertical to work with, or stick an edge on the hard snow and ice.
Specs 180cm.: Tip; 230mm Waist; 190mm Tail; 230mm Turn Radius;180 - 15m
Performance Charachteristics: The turning
radius is what to look for on a carving board, it really doesn't matter how big or how
small you are, it has more to do with how tight of a turn you like to ride. If using a carving
monoski for all-around use, the shorter boards are bit easier to handle in variable terrain
and tight situations. The tail is designed to hold you in that turn, so in bumps and tight
situation, just hold that turn and you'll be fine, get in the back seat and get ready to follow
the direction of the sidecut radius.
